Well folks I am moving to Texas, yes Texas, the lone star state. The land of oil and long horns. I am gong to move in with my sister and her husband for a time. while living with them I am going to apply to become a school teacher. I will also be setting up a leather shop making leather goods.
I won’t lie to you I am scared as hell about this move mostly because I am heading into the unknown, the unknown is always scarier than the known no matter how bad the known is. I once saw a movie where the lead actor had to move he it was pointed out that within all of us something sleeps and only by change will the sleeper awaken. I guess my sleeper is going to awaken.
For those of you who are wondering my phone numbers will be the same so you can still call me. I plan to restart my blogtv show on September 13, 2010. I will have lots more details about the move then.
Until then please think about me and wish me well I will see everyone on the other side of this event.
Happy birthday USA, it is the 4th of July. That means parties picnics celebrations so happy birthday USA. What am I doing for the fourth ….not much sitting in my little room playing on my computer and petting Ginger. doesn’t sound like much but it is what it is.

Well it is Thursday and I am having fun. I have managed to block most spam on my mail server and I am loving that. So it fun working with my server I do read a log file that is sent to me every morning to see if there are any problems with the server that need to be addressed. I am trying to come up with something to post here on my ramblings blog daily but I want it to be something that someone will want to read. I have thought about posting things about politics but I know that would get me into trouble real quick with my views.

A friend of mine from long ago contacted me today via email. I had not heard from her for a few years. That was a wonderful start of the day.
I would like to take the rest of this post to tell you about this server. I have built a computer and installed centos on it, so I could setup a web server, and email server, and of course my blog. Now that I have done all the work setting things up and getting it working. I am now going to rebuild my my website and update it all to make it a little bit more interesting for all of you. Please feel free to leave comments on the posts or the website so I know how I am doing. Let me know if i missed something or I should change something. As the robot in that movie said “need input” I need all the input I can get.

Well it is Monday and I am trying a new way of posting to my blog. I hope this works as it will let me post from anywhere. You see I got an app from the app store that let’s me use my iPhone to post to the blog. Now that is cool the app is free and is available for the iPhone and ipad. This will help me post on the fly.

Ginger is doing great she is still spoiled rotten but I love still.

Hey it is Sunday and I slept in I missed my show on Blogtv today as I was sleeping. Sorry to all my Blogtv viewers but some times you have to recharge the dead batteries. So I got up feed and walked ginger and than went back to bed for some much needed sleep. Still feel like I could use a few more hours but ginger kept telling me I should get up so I did.
On another note I heard our vice president made a fool of himself when he was given an ice cream cone and than got into a little name calling to the guy that gave him the ice cream. All the ice cream guy said was it was on the house just lower taxes and we call it even. Joe called him a *sshole for making that comment. Such a nice vice president that we have.
Now I know that the oil spill is pretty much out of everyone’s control, but it seems to me and some others that I have talked to, that stopping that leak should be no harder than building a box big enough to go over the valve with a hole on top big enough to let the oil out while they lower the box over the existing valve. Then pump concrete into the bottom of the box to anchor the box to the existing valve. Once the concrete has setup close the valve on top of the box and oil leak is stopped. So wtf is so hard about that or do they just really want to leak oil in to the gulf and not fix the leak?

This is my blog which I have setup for a place for me to speak my mind sorta. I guess though I should tell you a bit about myself.
Well I am over 50 years old unfortunately in 2007 I lost all my income do to the housing collapse. Since than I have lost my house and most of my belongings, as I write this I am sitting in a 12 by 12 room that has room for me my computers my dog and my bed and not much else. I am not bitter about this as I know that this has all happened for a reason and someday I will know that reason but for now I will cope and get along. In August of 2009 I qualified for disability so I now have some money coming in I wish it was more but it does keep the lights on and the food in the icebox.
I have a show at http://www.blogtv.com/People/digibandit2 I do this show daily from around 9:00 am EST to 12:00 pm EST. The show is a place where some friends and I can get together and chat and listen to my music library please feel free to come by and say hi.
I am also into photography and hunting and amateur radio. I have not been able to enjoy these since I lost all my income in 2007 since I don’t have a place to set up my stuff and can’t afford to travel to the hunting grounds, but I know that will change in the future.
I also have a couple of web cams up so that you can see what is going on outside my little room. The cams are up 24 seven; however, they don’t have night vision so at night you don’t see anything but a black picture.
