preferred dead thank you Navy Seals

Over the weekend (May 1, 2011) Usama Bin Laden (UBL) was found by navy seals and was shot and killed and buried at see saving the world a long and costly trial and funeral. (Go Navy) Now there is a discussion as to weather pictures of the dead UBL should be released, yes they should be released no matter who might find them offensive and who might use them for gain. My reasons for this are that it shows enemies of the USA that this could happen to you too. Second it will give closure to the relatives of all that died on 9,11. Third it well helps to disrupt all those out there that are saying he is still alive.  Now I know that Al Queda might try to use the picture as a recruiting poster, however; that could go against them as well as it will show those that they want to recruit what might and will eventually happen to them.

I want to give all of the navy seals a big thumbs up and if I ever meet one I will buy him or her a drink of there choice and give them a big thank you.  All our troops deserve a good welcome home and a really big thank you for their service after all it is not like they were drafted into the military every last one of them volunteered and for that my hat is off to them.

Now where do we go from here well remember as long as we are over there fighting they will be trying to kick us out and not mounting much of an attack on the main land. So we need to stay the course and help those countries (Iraq and Afghanistan) become the countries they want to be and can take care of them selves and hopefully a good ally to the USA.

Now the current leadership of the US will not say it but America is at war but not with Muslims but with those that want to abuse and twist that religion to feel good about doing evil deeds. Now I include in the radical Muslims those Muslims that stand by and do not report or help us to fight the radicals because they are just as guilty as the radical Muslims that they are effectively helping. I was always taught that if you help people that do wrong you are just as guilty as the ones that did the wrong so if Muslims don’t want to feel like they are at war they should join us in the fight or quit gripping about what we are doing to the radicals.

Now you don’t see Christians getting up set when there religion is attacked or made fun of but Muslims get down right anti social and want to kill those that poke a little fun at them. Like the cartoonists that wanted to do a show on South Park where they showed a picture of some guy.  I am told that urine being poured over a cross is art maybe both are wrong but if you can’t understand humor maybe you don’t need to be in the world. Or maybe you need to step back and have another look at the world cause no one is gong to get out of life ALIVE we are going to die and turn to dust so get over it.

Hey gang I am having all sorts of fun learning to play the banjo. I have gotten my first roll down and working on my second. I have managed to play some of Yankee doodle and bile them cabbage down. It is a lot of fun to play the banjo and of course I am driving my sister nuts along with raven with my endless droning on the rolls. check back soon and I might even post a sound bite of me playing.

I getting a banjo. An orang blossom 250 with a beginners kit. I am going to learn to play the banjo then spend my days sitting on a park bench pickin and flailing and telling stories for all to hear. I know I have a lot of work ahead of me but a journey begins with one step. Today I made that first step.

We missed the snow so far but we got a major ice storm one that would do mother nature proud. I we should have gotten snow at least you can drive on snow but ice is just an uncontroled slide. oh well maybe next time.

Ok Houston is going to have a winter event starting sometime after noon on Thursday and end sometime after noon on Friday. Now snow might not sound like a big deal but here in Houston TX it is as rare as swine with working wings flying over head. So keep checking and I will post more as it happens.
Now for the other problem do to the cold temperatures the state of Texas suffered rolling blackouts luckily we have not lost power yet; but, this cold is not over yet.

Well I have arrived in Houston. it is hot but liveable. there is hot and cold running water, there is a nice fenced in yard for Ginger. The food is fantastic, the plumbing all works. this is so much better than I could hope for and I am loving it. I will write more soon.

Well folks I am moving to Texas, yes Texas, the lone star state. The land of oil and long horns. I am gong to move in with  my sister and her husband for a time. while living with them I am going to apply to become a school teacher. I will also be setting up a leather shop making leather goods.

I won’t lie to you I am scared as hell about this move mostly because I am heading into the unknown, the unknown is always scarier than the known no matter how bad the known is. I once saw a movie where the lead actor had to move he it was pointed out that within all of us something sleeps and only by change will the sleeper awaken. I guess my sleeper is going to awaken.

For those of you who are wondering my phone numbers will be the same so you can still call me. I plan to restart my blogtv show on September 13, 2010. I will have lots more details about the move then.

Happy birthday USA, it is the 4th of July. That means parties picnics celebrations so happy birthday USA. What am I doing for the fourth ….not much sitting in my little room playing on my computer and petting Ginger. doesn’t sound like much but it is what it is.
Hope all of will have a happy 4th. I know I will.

Well it is Thursday and I am having fun. I have managed to block most spam on my mail server and I am loving that. So it fun working with my server I do read a log file that is sent to me every morning to see if there are any problems with the server that need to be addressed. I am trying to come up with something to post here on my ramblings blog daily but I want it to be something that someone will want to read. I have thought about posting things about politics but I know that would get me into trouble real quick with my views.
